VH1 CLASSIC RADIO REPORT

Back in 1986, Queen played a pair of sell-out shows at London’s Wembley Stadium that many consider to be among the most incredible rock events ever staged. The gigs later came out as a live set and in March, a 25th anniversary DVD and digital video release of that package is coming out. Queen Live at Wembley Stadium boasts previously unreleased footage and brand new bonus features. Among the content are both concerts in their entirety and a feature including brand new interviews with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor. Pick it up on March 12th.

TIDBIT: Brian said of the shows, “The Wembley concerts in 1986 were the pinnacle for us. We were at our height band-wise and [singer] Freddie [Mercury] had developed this phenomenal way of dealing with stadium audiences.”
